Nikos Kotzias to Visit Skopje on Wednesday as Part of Regional Trip

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias on Wednesday comes to visit Macedonia, Kanal 5 tv reports.

According to them, the focus of this visit will be the measures of building confidence that Greece offers to Macedonia. His visit is part of his regional trip which included Belgrade and Podgorica.

Im Schuldenstreit mit Griechenland pocht Eurogruppen-Chef Jeroen Dijsselbloem auf Reformen der Athener Regierung. Arbeitslosigkeit in Griechenland nimmt wieder zu

Die ohnehin hohe Arbeitslosigkeit in Griechenland steigt wieder. Von Oktober bis Dezember kletterte die Erwerbslosenquote auf 24,4 Prozent, nachdem sie im Vorquartal noch bei 24,0 Prozent gelegen hatte. Das geht aus den am Donnerstag vom nationalen Statistikamt veröffentlichten Daten hervor. Drei Viertel der rund 1,2 Millionen betroffenen Griechen sind schon seit mindestens einem Jahr ohne Job. Die Erwerbslosenquote ist die höchste in der Euro-Zone, in der sie im Schnitt nur halb so hoch ist. Nach einer Prognose der EU-Kommission soll sie in Griechenland in diesem Jahr leicht auf 24,0 Prozent sinken. Im kommenden Jahr sollen es 22,8 Prozent sein
