Zaev is preferred partner of Greece and Greek politics

The most radical ideological organization of Greek foreign policy that largely determines and affects hard positions of the Greek state, is openly cheering SDSM and wants them as partner in negotiations. Members of this organization are the most radical Greek historians who are known for their anti-Macedonian views and open denial of Macedonian history and nation.

Thanos Dokos from Eliamep as reminder, yesterday clearly stated that the Gruevski will not change the name, SDSM is more flexible and desirable partner for Greece. According to him, the Greek perception is that the Prime Minister is not very flexible, he rejects the Greek negotiating position for complex name that will include the term Macedonia, with note to the Upper North, New, whatever it is, that will be used for all uses. Unlike the government led by VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM in Greece is portrayed as political option, which would is more flexible interlocutor for the Greek side.

ELIAMEP- powerful organization of Greek politicians, professors and creators of negotiation policy towards Macedonia, is openly on the side of SDSM

Besides Dokos, Vice President of ELIAMEP is Thanos Veremis professor of political history at the University of Athens. He is author of the works Balkans, creation and disintegration of states; he has written the biography of nationalist Greek leader Eleftherios Venizelos and he has written Greek history after the 1821 year. Otherwise, Thanos is known for his nationalist performances oftentimes covers the name dispute.

Moreover, Thanos publicly declares that SDSM is coveted by Greece, unlike Gruevski.

Thanos in the interview with Greek media several years ago clearly and directly expresses anti-Macedonian views. He said “there is Bulgarian Macedonia, there is Greek Macedonia, there is self-called Slav Macedonia. However, there can be no Republic of Macedonia. It may be North Macedonia, New Macedonia. I want to see direct talks between Athens and Skopje, but while Gruevski does not give sign that he is ready for such work there would be nothing, compared with Crvenkovski for example that was very flexible. ”

As special advisor to the ELIAMEP is the Greek historian Evangelos Kofos who is one of the most extreme Greek intellectuals, who for decades are trying to conceal the existence of the Macedonian to the world and to show that it was artificially created, invented creation of socialist rule in Yugoslavia after Second World War. Kofos is ideological pillar in the creation of the problem with Greece.

Kofos and Dokos are part of the Soros network

Greek historians Kofos and Dokos in 2010 visited the Macedonia and part of simulation of negotiations which in Ohrid were organized by Tv A1 with open support of Soros journalists among which the main character was Borjan Jovanovski. Then Kofos and Dokos have been persuading the public that Macedonian nation does not exist and that the Government should give up in the negotiations.

Otherwise, honorary member of the organization ELIAMEP is Nikiforor Diamandouros who is repeatedly elected for ombudsman. As reminder, Greece is known as one of the most problematic countries when it comes to respecting the rights of minorities and as country that does not respect the rulings of the International Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and who are in favor of the Rainbow and the present Macedonian minority in Greece.

Lucas Tsoukalis is listed as president of the association and regular columnist for the Greek daily Kathimerini that often carries anti-Macedonian Greek attitudes.

Apart from historians and politicians, Eliamep members are senior representatives of Greek security services

At the organization board is Palos Apostolidis, former director of the Greek National Intelligence Agency from 1999 to 2004. He previously had diplomatic experience and worked in the most critical areas for Greek foreign policy, namely the diplomatic mission in Ankara, Cyprus, and short period in Saudi Arabia, he was Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and led the Greek foreign policy.

Also on the board of directors is Eleftherios Oikonomoi former head of the Greek police and former Minister for Civil Protection in the Greek government.

It is known that the daily Dnevnik reported the affair of Zoran Zaev who repeatedly on foot was crossing the border with Greece and Bulgaria, and in periods that coincide with important political events in the country, the newspaper wrote that his visits did not last longer than 24 hours and wonder why the leader who drives car worth 80 thousand euro on foot passes Macedonian Greek border and with whom he is meeting in Greece. Zaev, visited Greece in October, the same day it happened the new round of talks between Nimetz and the negotiators in New York. In mid-December, Zaev visited Greece, and three days later, the EU adopted decision not to grant Macedonia with date for starting negotiations. Is it coincidence or opposition leader went to Greece with a specific purpose, remained unknown with whom he met and who is so powerful from the Greek government that can provide such transition for Zaev.

SDSM did not answer whether during these crossings and likely meeting with Greek officials were achieved some agreements. However, the fact is that in several occasions, openly and clearly, Eliamep and other prominent Greek politicians openly say that SDSM is desired partner for the name talks and Greek favorites for achieving solution.
