Greek Media: Parliament Backs Gruevski's Government

Greek media, Kathimerini, To Vima and other, have informed on yesterday's Government vote, refraining from comments for the time being, MIA correspondent in Athens reports.

Newspapers say the support that Nikola Gruevski's government gained was totally expected. They also inform that about 77 members of parliament from VMRO-DPMNE and DUI have backed the new composition, whereas six members of the opposition Democratic Party of Albanians, led by Menduh Thaci, have voted against.

They referred to SDSM's boycott, saying the members of the party did not take part in the debate and the ballot as they were not present in the Assembly.
