Greek state company wants to build hydroelectric plant in Macedonia

Priority of the Greek state electricity company DEI for this year is building new hydroelectric plant in Macedonia, as well as participating in the work of existing hydroelectric plant.



This project was announced by the director DEI Arthur Zervos at the conference “Investing in Energy 2014″ held in the capital of Greece.

In his speech at the conference, Zevos noted that in 2014 the emphasis would be on the strategic expansion of the company abroad.

In this context, we will begin to work two DEI subsidiaries in Bulgaria and Turkey, who are dealing with electricity trade.

In relation to the activities in Macedonia, DEI will participate in the tender of the Macedonian Government for the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of new hydropower plants, and for participation in the existing hydroelectric plant, informs Zevos.
