Vecer, Macedonia: Greek PM still reading Macedonian counterpart’s letter
Skopje. Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras has not commented on the letter sent last week by his Macedonian counterpart, Nikola Gruevski, in which the latter invites the Greek leader on an urgent meeting over the name row between the two countries, Macedonian Vecer daily writes,
Macedonian journalists in Athens commented that so far there was no response and feedback from the Greek capital, though they have been urging for an official commentary every day.
Meanwhile, the Greek media cited a statement of Macedonian PM Gruevski, made in Vilnius, in which he said that Macedonia had met the criteria for the NATO membership and for launching the EU accession talks, but the procedures were blocked by Greece.
