Greece backtracks, removes ban on Dnevnik journalist

Greece's communications office in Skopje has contacted Macedonian journalist Ivana Kostovska to tell her she may travel to Greece as her label "persona-non-grata" has been removed. However, the offfice did not elaborate why was she proclaimed 'enemy of the state' in the first place.

- The unofficial explanation I received from the consul was that this was an apparent accident, which is unlikely because the document I received from Greece's customs had the number of my passport in it, so clearly it was me, except that I never received an explanation why I am denied entry", said Kostovska for Dnevnik.

Past week, the Macedonian Association of journalists organized a peaceful protest in front of the Greek Communication's office.
