For Droutsas, New phrases are a High Priority

There is only one place left on this small planet where white is black, small is big, aggressors are victims, villains are heroes and somewhat strangely, the white supremacist groups are actually not white. No, it’s not another episode of Dave Chappelle’s show. I am talking of, you guessed it, Greece.

I am not sure what am I tired with nowdays, hearing of new (old) statements by the Greek deputy Foreign Minister Droutsas or reading about handful Macedonian journalists who have sold their souls to a bankrupt bidder.

I swear if I hear another bullzheet phrase coming out of Droutsas, and you know what I am talking about: “good neighborly” ties, “we (Greece) are your friend”,  there is a very good chance I’ll vomit. Greek politicians have uttered the 'good neighborly ties' phrase an astonishing 8,300 times during the last two years. If not for this phrase, Droutsas, Bakoyannis, Papandreou and the rest would be speechless. 

Droutsas in the last few months  has gone on some kind of backward offensive, using the already familiar Greek tactic: If I repeat something a 1000 times, at least I could believe it. The repetition is key for a Greek politician, so they keep a straight, and somewhat lost face. 

North Macedonia. Droutsas is well aware that Macedonia has rejected ‘North’ years ago. He as well as his masters are also very well aware that 'Skopia', 'Monastiri', 'Lichnidos' has said No to North, New, Upper, Lower, Side and Inner Macedonia. All of these names are part of a sick scheme where Macedonia has to bow to Greece and accept whatever the menthos come up with.  

For over a decade, Greece has been victimized by a horrible neighbor to the north who simply does not understand good neighborly ties. This phrase is catchy, I can see why they use it.

Greece closed the border with Macedonia in 95’, enforced economic embargo, (this is not from a movie) captured a plane and re-painted it because it said Macedonia on it, and forced a plane full of tourists on its way to Egypt to divert to Istanbul because the airline is called Macedonian Airlines, thus risking the lives of all passengers. These are actions of mad, hopeless Greek politicians who need to set up lengthy appointments with Vienna’s most prominent psychologists.

My question to Droutsas on his recent escapades is: Bored? Are you on the “Truman Show” where everything you say is part of a commercial? Is this your first job so you feel you got something to prove by making phone calls? You do realize you can just pretend to make phone calls and look ‘busy’. You don’t actually have to phone some radio station in Sweden. And why Sweden?  Or you are used for everything to back fire. Swedish deputy in the MoFA for the Balkans via EuroActiv said Athens can-not be trusted with their latest proposal on North Macedonia. As if we this was news. So much for the long distance charges…

Macedonia provokes Greece, says Greek Deputy FM Droutsas. According to this logic, an attractive girl provokes a rapist. But then again, in Greece this would make sense.

Droutsas claims 'Greece' is the largest investor in Macedonia. No it isn't. Are my own investments in California also Macedonian investments? No they are not. They are my own private investments. Greece has absolutely nothing to do with individuals or firms who have decided they can make money by investing in Macedonia. I can see how this would create confusion for you. Common sense is required for this sort of thing.

Back to the name. It’s all settled folks. It is North, Upper, Lower, Inner Macedonia, bordering Western Turkey to the south, judging by the nervous forced laugh Droutsas exhibited and kept for hours while visiting Ankara.
