Macedonia referred to the international ruling in dispute with Greece

The present debate for the respecting the rule of law, organized within the General Assembly of the United Nations, the Macedonian delegation reminded on the failure to implement the ruling of the International Court of Justice in relation to the Greek violations of the Interim Accord.


As MIA reported, on the discussion led by Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Jan Eliasson and Dutch Foreign Minister Franciscus Timmermans, the issue pertaining to the role of the International Court of Justice was introduced. Timmermans said that, although the Court in many cases has made ​​possible to satisfy the justice in disputes between different countries, yet the court fails in the implementation of its decisions.

Macedonian Minister of Foreign Nikola Poposki, who participates in the General Assembly, responded that it is the case in the dispute between Macedonia and Greece.

International Court of Justice in 2011 ruled that Greece had violated the Interim Accord when it vetoed Macedonia’s membership at the NATO summit in Bucharest in 2008. However, noted Poposki, the UN until now failed to implement this decision that could help resolve the dispute between the two countries and unblock Macedonia’s integration.

Poposki late last night had a meeting the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, Štefan Füle, and during today will address the hearing for the process of Vienna +20 for guaranteeing human rights.

Today Poposki, as a representative of the Republic of Macedonia signed the Agreement on trade with weapons, which regulates the international trade in conventional arms.

Wenn man das umlegt auf die Gesamtsumme, wären das rein rechnerisch 1.190 Euro Schulden pro Stromkunde, aber bei 1,8 von 2,5 Milliarden Schulden durch gewerbliche Kunden dürften die Privatkunden natürlich deutlich kleinere Summen offen haben. FMW-Redatkion Die Sozialkassen in Griechenland schaffen derzeit eine Art parallele Staatsverschuldung. Da die annehmen, dass ihre Löcher aus den jetzt fließenden 86 Milliarden Euro vom 3. Hilfspaket nicht gestopft werden, haben sie angefangen in Eigenregie Kredite aufzunehmen.
