Golden Dawn disrupts documentary in N.Y.

Members of the Greek neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party were reportedly ejected from a post-film discussion here after they used a megaphone to disrupt the talk, and made threats as they were pushed out of the hall.

The incident occurred on May 24 at the Stathakion Cultural Center in New York during the screening of Greek-American Radicals - The Untold Story, a historical documentary about the journey of Greek-American radicalism.

Golden Dawn, which rose from obscurity on the back of an anti-austerity, anti-immigrant, anti-gay, anti-Semitic platform to win 18 seats in the Greek Parliament last year, views leftists as mortal enemies. sk/12:46
