Solun mayor to build a house in Krusevo

Yiannis Boutaris, the mayor of Solun is quietly moving back to his roots, in southern Macedonia.

Krusevo city council announced the Solun mayor has received green light to build a house in Krusevo, the city where his parents came from.

The house will be in a traditional Vlach style and follow the renowned Krusevo architecture, authentic to the house of his parents, reports Kanal 5.

The 30 room home will not be built at the same location in the city, the location is presently the home of the Krusevo center for retirees.

Part of the house will be turned into a museum, while the rest will be turned into a home for Yiannis Boutaris. 

Boutaris will visit Krusevo in August, where he is expected to provide all the details for his new home, reports Kanal 5.

Griechenland: 2,5 MRD Euro Stromschulden – Versorger schaltet bald erste 50.000 Kunden ab!

In Griechenland wird der staatliche Stromversorger in Kürze damit beginnen in einem ersten Schritt 50.000 Stromkunden den Saft abzudrehen. Die Außenstände belaufen sich insg. auf 2,5 Milliarden Euro. Betroffen werden vor allem Firmenkunden sein. Eine Katastrophe für die (vorhandene?) Konjunkturerholung. Es gibt einen handfesten Grund, warum die Höhe der Stromrechnungen in den letzten Jahren explodierte… Griechenlands staatlicher Stromversorger PPC hat Außenstände bei Stromkunden von insg. 2,5 Milliarden Euro, 1,8 Milliarden davon bei gewerblichen Kunden. Schulden haben insg. 2,1 Mio Stromkunden in Griechenland. Wenn man das umlegt auf die Gesamtsumme, wären das rein rechnerisch 1.190 Euro Schulden pro Stromkunde, aber bei 1,8 von 2,5 Milliarden Schulden durch gewerbliche Kunden dürften die Privatkunden natürlich deutlich kleinere Summen offen haben. Aus Respekt gegenüber unseren südlichen Nachbarn (und natürlich mit der Bitte das sich unsere westlichen Nachbarn nicht deswegen diskriminiert fühlen), habe ich bewusst nur 99. Fakten übertragen. In dem Fall, kam der typische makedonische Trotz in mir zum Vorschein... "Was Du kannst, kann ich schon lange und natürlich besser" und damit überlasse ich nun den Fakten den Vortritt, ohne aber zu Vergessen euch darauf hinzuweisen das bald ein Thema folgen wird das das "slawische" Element im Modernen Griechenland behandeln wird. The movie, entitled The People’s Revolution Upon the Ministers' Wives, has been produced by Sirina (Siren) Productions and can be included in the genre of “politicised or austerity porn”. “2012. The dominant emotion of impoverished Greece is disappointment.
